I hate putting up lights...that's why I paid a guy to do it for me last year, and am doing it again this year (they go up on Monday). I don't like heights, I don't like being out in the cold freezing my fingers trying to hook the little plastic s-hooks onto the eaves trough, and I don't like securing the string of lights to the hooks. So fuck it, I spend a few bucks and let somebody else be miserable.

haha.... you got out of it easy. I have 7 large plastic boxes to remove from the attic today. I get the tree and the outside lights and the Wife does the rest.

Yeah we have a 17' ceiling in our great room. It's not bad getting the tree in because it is tied up but getting it out is always a pain and a mess.
