This part of what you said is true, kinda. It's not like I am looking out for fat people, it's just like they assault my eyeballs with their fattitude. It's hard to miss, both literally and figuratively. And the fact that I have made 6 foreign trips in the last 12 months and have yet to encounter an obese person who was also not an American makes me doubly depressed.

I may live in Oregon bro, but I was born in India and grew up on 3 continents and my job being what it is, my definition of interaction with other cultures means something a bit different from walking down Manhattan and seeing a bunch of different people or eating at their restaurants.
