Do you realize that we just talk democracy but all our friends are people who care nothing for their people? You think we should prop up Mubarak when he is major dictator who cares nothing for democracy? We are repeating the same pattern over and over and over. The time has come for us to completely change the way we act towards the developing world.

People in the developing world LOVE America the country. They want to be like America - with freedom, with wealth, with good standard of living, where they have opportunity. Do you realize that? People don't have America deep down - they want to be like America. But our fuckhead politicians have created a situation that America is reviled because of its policies. We are making things a lot worse by propping up tinpot dictators who absolutely do not care for their people. I grew up in the third world - I know how much people love America but hate American policy.
