Small abscess

Ah fuck...Think I got a small abscess on the shoulder from last weeks shot. Not sure what to do about it. Area looks normal a little raised but its still sore from the shot.

How many days has it been?

I would go ahead and start on some broad spectrum antibiotics.

Last monday...
the area is still sore so im concerned. I guess ill head to the doc's tommorrow.

I find heat and massage helps sore inj sites but if its abscess then you need anti biotics

I did notice it was 50 percent better after hot shower. No real visible signs of anything... she how it is tommorrow.

Watch for red streaks going either up or down your arm. If it has a head on it like a whitehead pimple, try and pop it open and wash out with warm water and soap. The heat compress like Mr I stated will help to get blood flow to the area, which can help it heal. Keep an eye on it and get checked out immediately if your joints proximally or distally begin to ache.

its not an abscess !!!! trust me you would know if abscess very very painful .. hot to the touch and you will be running a fever ... you will know the difference if you ever get one trust me
