  • Is Fedor done?

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio Silva Video - Strikeforce Heavyweight GP | MMA Videos

Is are people making too much of a couple losses, he's lost before in sambo anyway and it hasn't made him any less. I'm actually really impressed on how he survived

Hes been done. Who has he fought? No one! dont get me wrong he would bitch slap me but in the top ranks of MMA he has not beat anyone in a long time.
incredible heart not giving up alot of guys would of just let the head and arm choke go and tap.

The game has passed him by; the young hungry lions have raised the bar while he's been stagnating in buttfuck nowhere Russia training with yes-men. Fedor has coasted by without fighting truly tough competiton in recent years; a washed-up Arlovski, out-of-shape Tim Sylvia, and Brett Rodgers were easy opponents. He can't hang with top heavyweights anymore. Think about how bad he looked against Werdum and Bigfoot Silva; imagine how bad it'd be if he fought Overeem, Velasquez, Carwin, or Lesnar!

He beat the best on the planet at their prime and then Pride ended and he didn't want to go to Dana's empire. He's since beat two previous UFC heavyweight champions. What he didn't fight Brock? Brock got taken out by the Cain a man smaller than him.

Strikeforce has 3-4 guys who could easily compete for UFC heavyweight title; Werdum (ya I know he got beat but he could still do it), Arlovski maybe, Oveream Bro's, and the guy who just beat Arlovski

Fedor looked good at striking in that fight and Big Foot was 285lbs on the day, thats a tall order, it was a doctor stoppage don't forget and Fedor was threatening right till the bell rang.

Alas though I think its time for him to take a rematch with Werdum if he can get it and fight a couple small (or at least his own size) guys then bow out

I don't think he looked bad against either Bigfoot or Werdum TBH but in his fights with both Brett Rogers and Arlovski he took damage like you wouldn't have associated with Fedor before.

Agree that Cain and Alastair would probably get him at the moment but I wouldn't count him out against them

All the guys he has fought were kicked outta the UFC. he didnt fight any of them when they were top of their game. Not his fault I wouldnt give in to Dana either if I didnt have to. Face it bro we will never know how good he realy was due to promotions and their greed.

Oh and side note his strikong looks like shit he has power and speed but no technecial skill.
