  • Rocket, Silicon Valley gyms?

Hey bro, I'm going to be in San Jose/Santa Clara for 5 days for a business trip. Any recommendations for a good gym within a few min of Scott and Benton? Need a 1 week pass at a reasonable price.... Just need free weights and a treadmill..... Thanks man!

Sorry bro I dont goto gyms. I have had my own for years now. But there are plenty of 24hr fitness and golds everywhere around there.

I just got a 7 day trial at 24 hr fitness. Trouble is, I am already a member but I have the basic membership that only allows me to use my home gym. I'll have to see if I can sweet talk them into letting me use their gym for free :)

Weather was crazy today. We even had some slushy snow in LA today.

The bay area is one of the wierdest places for weather. You can be south of SF around San Mateo to San Jose and it's hot. Go to SF of walking on the Embarcadero it's a warm morning then half way through the day it gets windy and chilly, or the fog rolls in and it's cold and damp. Then the end of the day it's warm again.

Worked out at the 24 hour fitness at 1531 Parkmoore Avenue in San Jose. They charged me 5 bucks for a walk-in workout. Not bad, but the gym sucked. Really old equipment and they didn't have a dip belt - what kind of gym doesn't have a dip belt? I asked the girl at the front desk if they had one thinking that they perhaps had it behind the front desk for some reason and they didn't even know what the hell it was... :retard:

I'm going to try a different 24 hour fitness tomorrow.
