Apple gets set to unveil new iPad today

[Turbo3000]

i might buy one before the year's end. i'm just disappointed that apple pretty much nixed their education discount. about 2 years ago there was a discount available for everything (software, hardware, accessories) if you were a student or government employee. now it's only on their laptops and some of their ipod models.

It was a completely abused system, I can see why they took most items off. They still give one on computers, and I don't see other companies doing that at all.

I watch more video on my 10" iPad then on my 46" tv.

I think they're neat, just not interested in paying ANOTHER monthly bill.

Wifi only. The ipad is great. I am on mine a lot more then my desktop.

They are simple, and that makes them perfect for the role they play. Love the Smart case on the new one, but I will be waiting until the 3.

never buy first gen anything... looking at you timma...

I didn't buy it. Xmas gift this past year. If it was up to me I was going to wait until this one came out.

That's still expensive. I'll wait longer, lol

Good luck.

I have to admit, that Ipad2 would be great for travelling; much better than lugging a netbook.

I have the original iPad and it's so much easier than lugging my laptop around.

No need if you get the wifi version. More and more places are rolling out available free wifi.
