ever been to Miami or Ft Lauderdale?

the ocean in cali is a fucken ice bath, cant swim in it, and its dark dark blue water.

miami beach is like the fucken Caribbean, warm water almost year round and water crystal clear.

they get a bit more rain and it gets hot in miami but i think that out weighs the constant ice bath water and traffic in cali.

Of course I've been to Florida...and I hate rain and humidity enough that it's a big factor for me. Cali suits me more than Florida does.

we drove from a cabin we stayed in the aderondecks up to lake champlaign (sp?) in vermont. at one point we did not see a single car for at least a half hour. this was a saturday afternoon around 2pm.
