Anyone ever been on one, or know someone who has???? some of these shows like Change of Heart seem so scripted at times :(



but....scripted or not, Elimidate is quality TV ;)

ok my g/f school she attends has good connections with mtv and a few networks so one day at her college she saw a posting for an open spot to be on the show change fo heart. she signed both of us up.

i was unaware that she did this. a few days later im gettign phone calls up the ass asking me for personal info like what i like in a girl and shit and when id be able to come in for an interview and directions how to get to there studio. i was like why the F*** are you telling me this. then they told me my chick signed us up to be on the show.

i was pissed....we just started to go out and i figured iwas gonna get dumped lol. so after being pissed off i said fine. now we live in connecticut and there studio is in new york somewhere near grand central station....we took a train there adn went to there studio.

when you first get there they separate you and have you fill out a questionaare saying what you like in women and what your dream woman is like and how far youre willing to go and all that good stuff. fast foward a bit....they put us in a room and asked us a bunch of personal and dirty questions all ranging from what we liked about each other to what we liked in bed to what is the worst thing we could do to each other.

after that they split us up and asked dirtier questions. this guy asked me "ok so i know you DONT want to be here but this show is just for fun and 90% of the couples never break up, its just something that we do for ratings and hey you get to have a night of fun on us so what if i had some big tittied beautiful girl of your dreams according to the criteria you set up in the questionarre come up to you and jump on you and be all over you in the date would you have a problem with that and would you have a problem showing the camera?" i said hell nah!!!! :D so they said it could be arranged.

then i asked my chick what they askked her in her interview and she said her interview sucked and they asked stupid questions like if your date likes you a lot and wants you to break up with me for him would you and she said no. but they didnt ask anything to the degree that they asked me. and she said that she wouldnt kiss or anything to jeopardize our relationship so they said theywould find someone who is just willing to go out and have a nice time but no funnny business.

so i know for a fact that this thing is scripted because they tell you what is gonna happen and they set up most of the time one of the couples (me in this case) to have an awesome night and the other (my chick) to have an awful time and then bad mouth each other and still stay togeher at the end.

funny thing was my chick thought that this was gonna be fun and it would have eneded up fun for me and sucky for her..........funnny i never heard back from them afterwards....i think my chick may have cancelled our appearnace there lol.

oh and btw, if you go on that show you have to sign a contract saying you wont go on anyother dating shows for like a year unless they contact you to reappear for another show.

Blind Date is the best tv show in the world. It deserves an emmy, or an oscar, or a tony, or whatever!!!

I have been watching this show a lot, in the hope that when I get out in the dating world I am prepared as best as possible not be one of the"I can't believe this guy is the most pathetic tool I've ever seen" category.

I am serious hoping for just being in the hand tool category (hammer, pliers) as opposed to being a radial arm saw tool. :D
