People's tax dollars are used to subsidize Rutgers. Hence my issue with it. Paying a nobel prize winner, great. Paying an orange gremlin who is famous for being drunk, not so great.

That being said, Snooki is a beast

The orange gremlin has made more money in the past 2 years than that nobel prize winner will make in his entire life most likely. Snooki is actually an interesting figure from an academic standpoint for the students in several of Rutgers' degree programs: business (branding, marketing), sociology (pop culture), psychology (too many applications to list), communications (broadcasting, social media).

Charlie Sheen would have been a better choice, but they can't afford him.
