Realistically, yes i would invest into supercars and than than of course little toy tinkers just to kill time and have fun.

A 370Z is a better start. More people would mod those things just because its a Nissan and parts are readily available for it (if not now, then in the future).

However going forced induction on that car is still untouched waters. Only a handful of companies can successfully tune those.

Over time no doubt, you can get a 370 to 600+ whp. Now, take a 350Z and you can easily get to 800whp only because its been done time after time after time.

Even better, daily driven 1000whp Supra :thumup:

bottom line is this, both cars tuned to the max, you get beat. you start out with a turd you finish with a tuned turd. save your money.

$30K into motor work alone. Once you're done and all, you would have spent about $55K-$60K into a daily driven 512whp car. On days you want embarrass an old fuck in his C63 AMG, turn to boost up to 30lbs+ and you'll have 800whp at your disposal. Easily walk all over your C63. Also, the mere fact that that GLI weighs under 3500lbs.

I am not saying this is the best option, nor am i saying do it. Its just what people have as ideas. There are many flaws to this, and therefore i don't care about building a car to have this much power.

I personally wouldn't do that, I prefer tasteful mods.

It's still a VW kid...What you fail to realize is that you have to PUT ALL that money into a car to make it near what a nice car would be like from stock...Now...Let's take the same amount you put into that cheap car into my C63 and then come whisper into my ear and say what:woot:

ALL these mod cars(I went through that stage too, I couldn't afford a nice car lol)....these young kids have, make me LOL...Let me go buy a 15yr old GTI, drop the engine, blue print the fucker, replace cams, etc. etc. etc....Look at me:woot: I'm hotness and fast....then you have me or bouncer pull up next to you and spank you like your mother should of....

I was tempted to buy these. The whole setup (adaptors, spackers, extended lug nuts), with tires, and wheels were mint. The guy wanted $1100, so i said no thanks.
