I actually have pretty good results wtih the autocorrect. In fact, I type really fast on the iphone. I am so confident in its ability to fix the errors that I don't even bother to hit the right key most of the time. I just get in the general area and it fixes the words.

I am loving my HTC Inspire, check it out. I wanted a bigger screen, and to give Android a second chance. Gave the iphone to the gf and didn't look back. Both have pros/cons, but I am android for now.

Still got my android G1 double post, it has reractable KB which works well. I'm gonna chexh the IP5 when it comes out, if I'm not impressed I'll go for the HTC, it has xbox live!
