On May 1, U.S. President Barack Obama confirmed that bin Laden was killed during a targeted U.S. operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Four other people, including a son of bin Laden were also reportedly killed in the operation.

Retaliation for the killing is a possibility, even in the U.S. As such, and in keeping with our Health and Safety culture, we encourage all employees to:

• Avoid high-profile landmarks and tourist destinations
• Avoid large crowds, mass gatherings and demonstrations
• Expect delays at airports as heightened security will likely slow travelers
• Be especially vigilant in public places

If you witness suspicious or threatening activities, we encourage you to report them immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Employees who are currently located outside of the US are strongly encouraged to read the attached document.
