AIMEncrypt is a terrible way to do security in AIM. Everyone who downloads it essentially has the exact same key to decrypting text, which simply said, isn't secure at all. If you really want security with a certificate, create one yourself.
You can go and create your own, self-signed certificate. Although it's easy on Linux, it took me a lot of research to figure out howto do it successfully in Windows. Well, I wrote up a GUI for any of you that might not want to do the command-line version.
The links with more information to howto create your own self-signed certificate and importing it into AIM are at:

or just http://sylikc.net/?secure, and find the HOWTO on the bottom.
Now then you won't have to use a freely downloadable (insecure) certificate, just DIY.
