            Whenever I use heavy dumbells my chest doesn't hurt 2 days after, when I use a bit lighter and focus on contraction my chest kills and I know I did some good

                cause your working the muscle instead of throwing around weights that are to heavy hitting joints, tendons, ligaments, etc..

                  I throw heavy ones in about every 3rd workout but I'm just saying I get a deeper ache from slightly lighter dumbells focusing on the contraction more.
