  • Beer People, recommend me a beer.

I like Belgian-style beer but willing to try other types.

Recommend me a good beer. We have a specialty beer and wine place that I should be able to find most brands.

I know rado thinks Sam Adams is the top of the beer chain, but I want something a little more rare or "exotic".

Anyone had anything from this list? Top Beers - Popular - BeerAdvocate

I like Stella Artois. Alexander Keith's IPA is a good one, and Sleeman's Cream Ale is as smooth as it gets.

We've gone through this so many times with most of us agreeing what's good and rado arguing it's not because Sam Adams is best. Lame American beer :P

I would recommend going to either a place that has lots of drafts (world of beer), and getting samplers or going to a specialty store (like world market) where you can mix up 6 packs of different things. Buying a 6 pack of something for $10, then you hate it, stinks lol.

I go here Best Bar | Best Local Bars| Local Live Bands | World of Beer because I love the Sea Dog Blue Paw. I accidentally found it in a grocery store I never go in the other day, so I'm stoked. Now I can drink it at home! :D

I ran in the grocery store to grab some food for the boat (store I hate and never shop in) and while I'm standing at the deli, I spot from across the way a case that says Sea Dog!

Oh no, he was with me. I took off and he was like "what are you doing?" lol

Ahh....that leads me to my next thread!

Don't go for anything over 4.6% bro, it'll ruin the experience and those aren't real beers anyway get a nice pale ale and just have one or two

Agreed, but my point was that 4.6 is about the starting point for most beers excluding light beers. Most beers are closer to or over 5.
