Going on Vacation

So i will be going to Virginia Beach from August 12-August 14. This is my first time going with my girlfriend and it will be just us alone. We're paying for everything. I just booked it and it feels so good. The hotel is on the boardwalk and single bed :hibb:

This is a big deal because I have never done this before. I've vacationed with friends, but never one one one like this. It feels like its a milestone accomplishment lol.

She said I have to actually vacation, meaning i cannot bring pre-cooked meals, no eating 7 meals a day, etc... I'll bring a shake and thats it. Granted its 2 days, i know i'll put on like 10lbs :staypuff:

Virginia Beach is about 4.5 hours. Anything more than 3 days at a beach gets boring, 2 nights is perfect.

And paying all by themselves! What is that, $80 a night X 2? :P

Paying $160 a night, not a bad place. Had good reviews on tripadvisor.com, hotel.com, etc... She found the place and it works.

I start my morning around 7 and don't sleep until 2, i fit 7 meals easily in there.

The only good beaches I personally have been too that were great were Outer Banks, NC and Florida. Ocean City, MD is 2.5 hours away but some dirty water and gets boring going to there every year. So its good to switch things up. I much prefer the West Coast. Went to Carmel Beach and loved it
