Facing a third straight loss, Fedor Emelianenko tried some new tricks before and during his fight against Dan Henderson. But his opponent was simply better and a little more resilient in the main event of Strikeforce's event at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Just seconds away from possibly losing the fight after a Fedor barrage, Henderson kept his wits, pulled off a nifty escape and landed an uppercut that changed the fight. That one punch plopped Fedor straight down on his face where Henderson landed three more shots and referee Herb Dean chose to save the fallen former champ at 4:12 of the first round.

he looked good compared to his regular fat self. I think it was stopped a bit to early specially since he just clipped Hendo and had him dazed.
the fight was a plain old street fight they both just threw bombs other than the min or so hendo had him against the cage

I will say this for the 100th time Fedor would kick my ass but he is and never was the best. He never fought the best. sure he fought a bunch of washed up former best guys but never when they we at the top. He was potected. now look at him he is getting beat down by even the washed up guys.

Agree in terms of his recent carear but you gotta remember that Pride was no doubt head and shoulders above UFC at one time, and at that time Fedor was dominant in Pride.

When Cro Cop was lethal, Fedor traded with him the whole fight and beat him up, Big Nog was 21 and 1 and on about a 15 fight win streak when Fedor stopped him, he'd already beaten Dan henderson before losing to fedor, og had beaten ricco rodrigues after rodrigues had just beaten randy couture for goodness sake. No way in hell fedor ducked fights in Pride. Once he had the belt he rested longer beetween fights yes but he fought everyone all the big names.

Towards the end when it became all about making money after the collapse of Pride yes I agree.

May I also say that Hendo looks more ripped , whereas Fedor looks old now. He needs to get on some GH like the rest lol!
