It's just a guide to what solar flares are. Not following ya on the spending tax dollars thing bro. Do you mean in NASA in general or something specific in the video? All I saw was a basic tutorial on what a solar flare is.

I just thought it was an excellent tutorial.

And as far as funding goes, it was a general comment/rant about NASA funding. The images on the tutorial were from solar orbiter satellites that depend on NASA funding. The current state of funding for science is beyond ridiculous. The funding for the James Webb Telescope, the replacement for the Hubble is in jeopardy in Congress for want of a couple of billion bucks. Can you believe it?
