there are a shitload of kids in college or just out of college with a lifetime of debt an nobody to hire them. its definitely a different environment then it was a decade ago, no doubt about it.

that said, in danas case, you can tell he isnt serious about school or ever really moving out.

I get that, but it still doesn't answer the question. I'm a single mom, in college, and working. If I can do it, so can anyone else. There is NO reason he can't live on his own, with roommates, etc - IF he wanted to.
