they made this season of that show last summer. how the hell was he playing a game that just came out a few weeks ago?

Not sure. It was one if the first few episodes too. Then last weeks finale advertised the game during commetcials.

What have you heard thats good about it?

Great shooter, elements of surprise, enemies creeping up on you, AI gets difficult as you progress through the game, ability to level up (similar to RPG's), and graphics.

He was using a gun, not a controller. I read that they were most likely using an iPad version of the game.
