FB is DEAD ON!! keys are the place to see, west coast is the best for relaxing. daytona is great if ya wanna stay drunk and party with the rednecks. ST Augustine is a beautyfull place. I ahave spent a lot of time there.. MOM lives there
Also may want to check out the kennedy space center in canaveral and of course orlando had all the resorts disney ect. ect. ect.
IMHO Miami sucks now( used to be great) unless you like to be surrounded by cubans and the hip hop life style..Comment

If you like amusement parks, you need to go to Orlando - Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios. Tampa has Busch Gardens - which is actually my favorite. But I've been to them all a million times and they are all great.

Ripper mentioned Cape Canaveral - that would be mostly if you're interested in the Kennedy Space Center. It's also right next door to Cocoa Beach, also pretty well known. I live in this county, so I'm obviously very familiar with it.
I personally would spend a couple of days in Orlando, several days in the Keys, and take a cruise to the Caribbean. I know it sounds sort of extensive, but it's really not. By the time you factor in hotel, rental car, and food, a cruise sounds great. We have a port in Canaveral, Ft Lauderdale, and Miami. You can sail cheap to the Bahamas or Mexico, or more expensive to Jamaica, St Maarten, Aruba, etc - but either way you'll have a great time.Comment
