  • getting a new phone, need ideas

so my current phone is dying. after dropping it a little too hard the other night it's not working as quick as it should. i'm due for an upgrade and i keep jumping back and forth between a few phones. i have ATT and i will not be looking into the iphone at all. i've always had a soft spot for samsung so i'm stick with them. though HTC inspire is nice too except for the camera that sticks out.

the samsung galaxy s2 - dual core 1.2ghz processor, 8mp camera, 4.3 inch screen, running android 2.3, FOTA capable, 16gb internal storage

the samsung infuse - 1.0ghz single core, 8mp camera. 4.5 inch screen, running android 2.2, FOTA capable, 18gb internal storage

the htc inspire - 1ghz processor, 8mp camera, 4.3 inch screen, running android 2.2, FOTA capable, only 4gb internal

I had the inspire, liked it for the most part. Battery wasn't that great.

Galaxy S 2 gets my vote.

hey turbo. what's the deal with this NFC stuff (near field communication)? are any places actually utilizing this tech or is it just a sort of prep like 3D ready stuff that's been coming out? it's peaked my interest.

I haven't seen the galaxy s2 but infuse was just ok when it comes to screen resolution. I gues after having the iPhone 4 for a while I can see the difference. But then again infuse is $99 with contract renewal and galaxy s2 is $199 plus tax on both of them.

in terms of reviews, the S2 is the best on your list.

Not relevant in my area at all. MD might be completely different.

            At&bullshit likes to disable NFC.

why would they disable it when it's coming standard on their phones? makes no sense. i haven't seen anywhere where NFC is used though. it's still being tested apparently? Visa and Mastercard are on board though. i've been doing a lot of research once i found out about it.

I just looked up NFC that is something I wouldn't be using.
