I have a female friend I've known forever and she was in a fucked up relatonship for 8 years that did all kinds of shit to her physically, mentally, emotionally you name it. Now she has another one that started out good but now he is beating her up and stuff. She isn't the only girl I know that does this either I know a couple more actually and have known others over the years. I mean if I was a girl it wouldn't take but 1 time for me to get smacked around and I'd be gone fuck that. Thing is this girl is really attractive I don't get it? Dude beat her up like 2 weeks ago then I get a txt last night at like 2:00 am it said " He busted me up good this time " I just lay there thinking about it and like I said man I just don't get it. I mean just pack your shit and leave or press charges get a restraining order whatever just get out...wtf?

Why do females stay in abusive relationships?

It's usually women with very low self-esteem and self-worth. They don't feel they deserve better. Abusers are VERY manipulative, also. They can do a damn good job of making these women feel it's their own fault, that nobody else would want them, and even very charming when it comes to being "so sorry" they did that.

The girl is smoking hot FB seriously. She knows it too I don't think thats the case here although it may very well be with others. Still amazes me..:wack:Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostIt's usually women with very low self-esteem and self-worth. They don't feel they deserve better. Abusers are VERY manipulative, also. Her physical appearance has nothing to do with her self-worth, though. Have you asked her specifically why she stays? What's he do for her?

Of course they do. Just like a child can take a whooping, but it doesn't do nearly the damage verbal abuse does.
The problem with fighting him - she still won't leave, and he still won't stop. So what's the point? You get arrested?
