thanks for posting this, i knew about it but had forgot.
i am pretty much mainstream public when it comes to UFC so I will let you know what i think. i am always interested in a good fight, just will never pay per view anything and wont go out of my way to go to some bar/restraunt to see the fight. so i would def watch more if it were on network or cable.

If there was ever a fight worth watching this would/should be one of them.
UFC signed a 5 fight deal to see how it is welcomed by the casual observers of mma.
It just happens to be the same night of the Paquio fight too, lol.
it is a good move IMO. i never understood why fights have to be setup up for payperview. its popular as fuck, people will tune in and the advertisers will come. fuck pay per view.

Great move. Their too fucking greedy to do away with ppv. Hell this will make it more popular and more people will occasionally purchase a ppv. It's so rare that they have a truly worthy card anymore. Fuck ppv.
i don't go out of my way to watch a fight and i'm not familiar with the top names but i do like to watch. i was at a bar last night and they were playing it. i was standing around with a bunch of dudes yelling at the screen while the chick i went out with was trying to get it in with some bartender.
getting it out for the public to watch will definitely draw in revenue.
I hate PPV because even if you're willing to fork out the $50, you never know if it's going to be worth it. A good fight = great. $50 and the guy gets knocked out in 3 seconds and the show is over = lame and a giant waste of money!
