        HDMI is best.
        Component video is pretty good.
        Composite video is lousy.

              Eh, depends. Regular cable or satellite 1080i not so much. However, something like blu ray 1080p, no question.

                I am with Blm. In pure uncompressed 1080p it's noticeable. On basic 720p or 1080i compressed cable or sat HDTV, no difference.

                  humm ok thanks bro that was the info I needed. She watches mostly TV so just run componet cables and let the tuner control the whole thing. Much easyer that way with the set up I gave her

                    Agreed... I was talking about 1080p Blu-ray. With lower resolution source material, you probably won't see any difference between component and HDMI. You will absolutely see a different between component and composite.
