  • About love.

Love is something to be held closely to your chest. Like when you're playing poker. But you don't have to act like your face is frozen - because then people might think your an emotionless robot preying upon the elderly.

Another thing about love is that it has four letters. And if you jumble the letters a bit, you can spell 'oval'.

And finally you know you are in love when that person is constantly in your thoughts and dreams. When you close your eyes, and they are there all over again. When you can yet remember the breathless whispers you shared, the scent of the skin, and the smiling happiness that met you at the door. At the moment slight hesitation flashed into a natural fluidity.
When you know, in the core of your soul, that there is no other that can make your heart pang with the longing you feel. And everytime you see them, it's for the first time. To me, that is love.

Perfection. Especially when you said "Everything you siad especially "And everytime you see them, it's for the first time. To me, that is love." I get drunk because my thoughts of her over whelm me. It's only been a month which is why it scares me. But I am ready for what ever.

Love has no time table brother. Do not be afraid of what you feel for her. Embrace it.

      What will be, will be.

I belive that so. I do what is real to me and if it dosn't work out at least I know it wasn't me. Or if it was at least I know it wasn't for me.

you know what sucks when you're in love, when its not reciprocated and it becomes unrequited love. It comes in 2 forms, when you love somebody but they don't love you back, or when you established the love for each other but the other person may say she loves you but isn't shown any way else and over time the thought of mutuality and commitment and being 50/50 on everything slowly fades out the door and you feel like it becomes 60/40, 70/30, 80/20 etc............yet she says still loves you but it feels unrequited, unreciprocated, yet we hang and yearn for a glimpse of hope, expecting, yet not demanding, which leads to dissapointment and broken confidence not just in her now, but in yourself more than her, alot more.......this is what I am starting to feel.....from every dissapointment, every miscue, and word taken the wrong way, i'm hurt, am I in love?

I am so sorry you are feeling this way, trojanmn2!

Where there is no mutuality nor reciprocity, in my opinion, it is the worst feeling in the world. You hang onto even the thinest thread. But eventually, you come to realize that sometimes, although you may completely and passionatly love someone, sometimes, you are not the one for them. And this is shown by their actions, and not their words. And like your signature, YOU MUST BE TRUE TO YOURSELF.

                          Exactly.

I will add that because you see your relationship this way - that's the first step, recognition. Now you have the option to try to make it better, or to find what you need elsewhere. Either way it's a hard decision.

What's LOVE got to do with it, it is just a second hand emotion, highly overrated and the worse myth in the world, arghhhh, I'm with Mrs. Tina Turner on this.

                            NOT

Basically have described my 20 years of marriage, time has come that I am forced to move on like it or not.

Or, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
