Ok so here something you guys can make fun of my country ass for. I bought one of these from this kid off the street the other day for 60 bucks kind of a take it or leave it deal. Had it a couple days still had service on it some drug dealer from the hood from what I gather from the txts and shit in the phone. My friend has at&t and said I could just get a new sim card for it and have service on it so whatever I bought it its been laying on my bedroom dresser for the last couple days. Got home from work yesterday watching tv chatting online and coulda swore I heard someone talking? I look around not thinking about the phone and just shrug it off whatever. Last night i'm sleep and clearly heard someone say something out loud. I jump up grab my pistol look at my dog thinking if someone is in this house ima shoot you both. Creep through the house looking around and I hear it again coming from my bedroom then it hit me lol. I grabbed the phone it had some msgs and shit on it I thought it was turned off. Fucking spooked the shit outta me lol brilliant :retard:

there are apps where you can "brick" the phone until you get it back and put in your own password. the other app (the one that makes it ring and turns on the GPS) is called "Find my Droid". you should be careful and should have turned it off and reset the phone to factory. if the app is still in there (even if it just has wifi connectivity and not a SIM installed) you can locate the phone and ultimately the person who stole/bought it.

You don't even have to root it. Just flash the sbf. That restores it to out of the box condition without risk if bricking or bootlooping.Originally posted by hitmansbYou should take that phone to someone who knows how and have it 'rooted'...get rid of all the bloatware and strip down any apps that may be on there that give the previous owner any degree of access or control.
