When did home depot become the sales pitch and harassment store?

I went yesterday just to look at some counter tops and floors for new house. Every Fucken 5 minutes some fat old fuck home depot employe was trying to get me signed up for a program or installation etc.. It got to a point where they forced me to be rude. Fifth guy walks up and I say, " you guys are like scavengers around this Fucken place, I'm not Fucken interested".

Old man said "excuse me" like he was gonna do something. Told him " you better back up brah" and he left mumbling under his breath.

LOL.... I think 4 or 5 years ago, they got a lot of flak that you can go into a Home Depot and find hardly anyone to even answer a question, so they have gone overboard in the other direction.

yea they try to suck folks into that shit...like Basspro shop here in savannah, ya have to take the esclator down to the hunting dept.At the bottom they swarm your ass ... sir "free" gear give aways. free hunting trips ect".. just fill out this card in about 2 mins and you have a chance to win. What folks dont understand is why they start getting all the damn robo calls, mag subscriptions in the mail ect ect... dumb ass's put out all their info for something they aint gonna win..:rofl:

No, it's still that way. You go in there looking for something specific and it's impossible to find someone that isn't already "busy".

I think they got tired of people buying their product and paying someone else to install it. We all know how much people charge for labor. They probably make more doing all that now, so they hound everyone.

Tell ya something else. The selection of counter tops and cabinets etc.. was weak. Expected a lot more selection
