Finally had the chance to watch it. I thought it had a good story behind it laced with methaphors. I enjoyed it. I told my wife "expect to cry your eyes out" (since silly things on the news make her tear up). At the end of the movie she says "your little friends on your board must be very sensitive", lol. There were some spots that were very heartfelt but it's not a tear jerker by any means.

Maybe 3 out of 5 stars.

Sorry man, it was far from great. Solid, easy to watch movie for sure but not something I would 'highly' recommend.

The last movie that made me sob like a child was probably "We Were Soldiers"

wow cough it up to different taste then because I like we were soldiers, seen it many times but never cried watching it.

i think it may have to do with life experience. the way hits something in me with my parents. my father left when i was young but the movie reminded me of my mom, we dont always have the best relationship but i know for a fact she would climb the highest mountains and swim the deepest depths. she worked 3 jobs when i was little, hell it makes me tear up just talking about it.

that movie captured that for me.

i am sure we were soldiers, captures something for you when you were in the military.

                              That's absolutely the reason.
