i think it may have to do with life experience. the way hits something in me with my parents. my father left when i was young but the movie reminded me of my mom, we dont always have the best relationship but i know for a fact she would climb the highest mountains and swim the deepest depths. she worked 3 jobs when i was little, hell it makes me tear up just talking about it.

that movie captured that for me.

i am sure we were soldiers, captures something for you when you were in the military.
    Totally understand from that perspective.

It's s good movie. If you have uninterrupted time watch it I'm sure you'll appreciate it. I doubt you will praise it like numbnuts does unless you can relate on a personal level. Then it would have more significance.

I can't get into it today. I've already had to rewind it like 3 times. I'll watch it tomorrow.

My point exactly when I said uninterrupted. Its a slow story and easy to lose interest.

calm your nerves. take a hot hot shower, have some tea, RELAX, take some calming herbs like V-root even if you think they are worthless. the combo of all that will help if you are willing to allow yourself to calm down.

I thought valerian root was decent, but the last time I took it, it didn't do a damn thing for me :(

It's mild, you can not expect it to act like a medication. It takes the edge off but you must help yourself. You cannot be all wound up and put no effort in to calm down. You need to work at it.
