  • chest pain

I'm away from home at the moment an filling in sometime.
I decided to go hiking, past two days I've hiked 12 miles each day.
Not too excessive, but fast pace up and down some steep cliffs.
Both days, half way through I get a horrible pain/ache on the left side of my chest. Nasty fucker.
Now, back in blighty I do a fair bit of cardio including sprinting but I've never had this.
Problem is, when I get back I want to start a cycle.
Any ideas? No pains in the arms or anything else.

you know the answer. go be lazy or cheap and go see a doc. could be nothing or you could be just around the corner from a heart attack..

Agreed with bouncer. Also did you feel dizzy at all? I know three people who felt dizzy with a little chest pain ended up with some kind of a by pass surgery.
Not saying that to scare you but you should definitely get it checked out.

Yeah I'm going to get it checked out when I get back to the UK.
Its just odd. No other symptons at all.
I did have my welcome to the 40 club medical 6 weeks ago and I flew through the fitness tests with flying colours, cardiogram was clear.
        But worth getting checked again.
