    I was downtown today for some Dim Sum, food was shit.

    Going again in a few weeks to some place called goosefoot. supposed to be the best new place in chicago.

    as for a quick bite to eat or lunch. Italian Beef sandwhich at either Portillo's or Al's. best sandwhich you ever had.

                      the problem is the place is tiny. all these new trendy places in NYC, Chicago, Beverly Hills, etc.. are tiny little 30-40 person restaurants. with the added fame of the Chefs opening these places from all the food shows etc.. its a pain in the ass getting a reservation.

                      we got a res for next month but its for 9pm i think.

                        how about "next". try getting a reservation there. thats the other hot place right now. the theme is the future or some shit. we plan on going there sometime in the summer.

                          Next is fucking nuts.

                          No reservations, you have to go online and try to buy tickets like it's a theatre production.

                          Of course, no tickets and people are scalping them.
