just got google voice all setup. love it.Originally posted by blm View PostHow is google voice 1980?
works like normal voicemail but it also sends you a text instantly and transcribes into words what the voicemail says.
i really like this because for some reason i fucken hate listening to voice mail. especially when my mom leaves me an hour long message. lol. dont get me wrong, love her to death but fucks sake.

got the "no clickable link" in email thing figured out.
just gotta use the gmail app that comes on the phone as your main email.
me and beast made the mistake of setting up our gmail account through the native HTC mail app and for some reason the HTC mail app does not allow you to click links.
problem solved and htc email app deleted.

kind of yes. its like the PC vs Mac debate. i like have control and being able to pick my browser, email, etc.. i do not like to be forced to use what apple gives me.Originally posted by ROCKETW19 View Postso basicaly you just delet everything HTC has and download different stuff?

Really? In case you didn't know you can use chrome on iPhone along with hundred different other browsers. You can also use third party email app too. Remember apple was first to have all the apps. But the difference is Iphone works out of the box the way it should and if I want I'd install different browser or whatever, it's because I want to not because I have to. You on the other hand had to nstall a new email app to be able to check your emails. (you couldn't even click a simple fucking link, A LINK! for gods sake) had to install a new browser to be able use your own fucking web site, you had install google text to send texts. Yeah htc is fucking great. Spend two hundred bucks to go back to checking your voice mails by pressing and holding "one" and listen all the fucking prompts to listen, skip or delete.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postkind of yes. its like the PC vs Mac debate. i like have control and being able to pick my browser, email, etc.. i do not like to be forced to use what apple gives me.
1980 was great but I like 2012 better. Have fun with your shit phone.

what you cant seem to comprehend is, its not HTC or the phone it is the android platform that you are talking about.Originally posted by BEAST View PostReally? you did not the take time for any sort of learning curve, you wanted it to work as your apple works and you were confused by it and had no interest in tweaking it to do exactly what you want. again, this is the PC VS mac debate all over again.
you do not have to press one to listen to any voice mail. that is the basic setup option, there are several options available which you clearly dont understand.
apple is an easy out of the box phone that you have gotten use to for years. android is completely different and allows for far more tweaking to get the system exactly as you want. you were not willing to even try because you were confused by it. this is clear.
within less then a day i have solved every issue you complained about. the only issue that bugs me is the SMS issue. Imessage is superior to SMS text no doubt about it. android needs its own version of imessage.

And talk to me when your 4g lte sucks down your measly 3 gig a month data plan and they start charging for overage while I have my unlimited plan. :nutkick:Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posthey beast.. how is the 4G Lte on your apple? oh wait you dont have 4g lte. ahahhaahhaha
