Any phone will suck the battery dead if you're constantly running video, games and apps.
    Not in 3 hours!

I can get 6 (more if don't run pandora) out of my 2yr old DX while running Pandora off and on, navigation, internet, texting and calls. And my battery is on numbered days. It used to be around 10 hours. I'm definitely a heavy user.

I haven't had good battery life with any droid.

A friend has the nexus and even with the extended battery he still has to keep a charger with him. I would consider him a heavy user, but it still shouldn't be as poor as it is.

Why not the Droid RZR MAXX?

    What do you guys think?
Looks promising. It's running the lastest ICS OS. There were reported issues about a faulty file directory placement that reduced the battery life by 20% which is big deal with a beast of a phone like this. Don't know what they claim for hours and usage. I'd wait for the new iphone just to see what it has to offer. I'm up for upgrade and as long as my phone hangs on I'm going to wait for the iphone and check it out.
