I know it sounds crazy but I genuinely dislike secluded houses with long driveways etc. they look grand but I would worry about my wife bring left alone there. Every time I watch our crime programmes its the secluded big houses where families get held hostage and worse while they're robbed etc. a biggish detached house on a road with other houses the dane and where you can about see your neighbours front room is what I prefer
