Bro, more than 50% of Russians support Putin and that is a FACT that you can't dispute. Are they poor, yes. Are they corrupt, yes. Was the election rigged? Probably. But this majority who support him don't give a shit about that, all they care about is power and military power. Many of them still support the soviet union. These are old school Russians and they are dying off and the younger generation will prevail and change will happen, but as of right now, today, May 7, 2012 more than 50% of Russians support Putin, unfortunately.

I didn't say the majority voted for him. I say that the majority support him & would vote for him. Anyone who is around that culture knows that. The young kids don't support him but the old school Russians do. My wife is also Russian - I'm sure though that none of this matters to you though because you clearly don't respect my opinions/insight on this topic and your mind is already made up - event though you've never been to Russia and have no connections or understanding of the culture there other than from what you've read on bbc or some other lame British news outlet. I actually read and watch RT alot.

I think there are evidently many who don't want him and the crack down on peaceful protest will only serve to make then revolt harder, because they already don't believe the election results.

Russia is changing, and I agree, Putin needs to go.

Think about this. If the people tried to overthrow Putin like they did in Egypt and Libya, would the USA step in and try to help the people the same way they did in Libya? I don't think so......
