As far as trophy hunting goes I dont like it either as I stated... But come to realize this folks and do some reaserch with a open mind... if it wasnt for the rich assholes that do it... a lot of those species would be wiped out right now by poachers. The rich put money into the local areas and make the animals worth more for 'trophy hunters" to come and take one then the poachers can ever earn.IE the elephant for its ivory( why do you think the populations are low..poachers)... So they protect them,turn in the poachers and the animals are doing much better and have stronger populations. All the meat goes to the local villiagers nothing goes to waste..ANYONE with half a brian knows this and understands it.

In fact right now there is a type of gazell that has been wiped off the african contenint... BUT they are THRIVING on texas ranches.. If it wasnt for the "trophy hunters" they would be extint... Now heres the shitty part. our GOVERMENT.. is trying to STOP the ranchers from this pratice of hunting these animals because they are endangered....Ther ranchers have made it profitable and spent tons of money to keep the species going and it is now thriving on theres ranches to the point of at the carrying capacity of the land. The ranchers have and are trying to keep the population up and get breeding started back in africa. BUT here in america they are trying to make it illeigle to hunt them... so if they do that.. No one pays the rancher to hunt the animal..the ranchers have no intrest in feeding careing and allowing the population to grow..which in turn will allow the to be re introduced to africa..

So the ranchers will allow them to die off and the species will then be gone forever. There are many cases of this and other species brung back and are thriving due to this type of pratice... so there are two sides to every story... no one is "right" 100%.. but I ask..who gives back more to the wildlife.. and you will see that hunters pay way more back into wildlife management they anyother group does... do the research...dont judge by your emotions

And remember this... there is a huge difference between an ethical hunter and a shit bag redneck or a poacher just out to kill shit...for thrills or profit.
