Any good secure email providers that are free or cheap? I'm not gonna pay $90 for a email account like some of these are charging....

Just realize that the gov is very aware of what most people use those "safe" emails for and they CAN crack them.

Personally I think you are safer using something like yahoo or gmail and hoping you get lost in the massive crowd and nobody is looking.

I agree. Never understood the idea of thinking anything was "safe" just because they said so.

think its more " safe " because its supposed to be legally safe not actually safe from being hacked. Like a violation of your rights

There was a big thing a couple years back about cyber-rights allowing a back for for.the gov to bypass encryption

Safest way to conduct business is use you iPhone or iPad erase daily( neither has a hard drive memory and can't be looked at if someone decides to kick your door in and take you CPU.
Email company is useless gov can get in if they want in. You can use some aftermarket encryption that would be way safer than email providers. Still if they want in they in.
Never give anyone your really addy have sent to a PO box under fake name. Never use western union in amounts where you need I'd. Always best to do cash in mail. I'm sure I forgot stuff but that's the basics.
