News Flash people... We already have fucking universal health care. You get in a car wreck they aren't checking your insurance card before the call an ambulance. My wife was been a nurse for 10 years. Over half of the moms that come in don't have insurance. They still deliver the babies. If the baby is sick. They still take care of them. They idea that we don't take care of sick or hurt people in this country is rediculous. So you get a bill down the road. Chances are if you don't have health insurance you have fucked up credit anyway. Just don't pay the damn thing like your other bills.

Guess what? I don't wanna get in a car wreck to go see a doctor nor fuck my credit up because of a 100k worth of medical bill. I wanna be able to go to a doctor when I'm sick or injured without worrying about all of that. I just had a surgery yesterday and I can't wait to see the final bill. Yes I have an insurance and yes they'll pay for it but what if I didn't? Couple years back my daughter broke her arm snowboarding and her surgery cost almost 30 grand. If I didn't have insurance there is no way I could've pay for that. Bouncer had an MRI done about a month back and it cost more than 5 grand. 5 grand for an MRI to what the cause of is neck and back pain? C'mon!

I'm from turkey and as much fun people make about how much of a third world country it is you don't have to wreck yourself in a car crash to see a doctor regularly and take care your health. We've had socialized medicine for almost a hundred years.

My point is this... There are those of us that can take care of ourselves(obtain health insurance) and there are those of us that can't. In our current system, both of those people will still receive care. We pay outrageous medical bills so that hospitals can cover both scenarios. Whether it is medical bills, insurance premiums or taxes we are still going to pay. Hell, I am not even into politics. I am just tired of hearing about the shit.
