Anyone been to Vancouver BC?

Thinking of driving up next week to spend a few days in the great white north, and looking for things to do in Vancouver. Anyone been there and can recommend must-see stuff? I think we will take the ferry to Victoria, but recommendations for decent places to stay and things to do would be great.

I lived there for several years, the city is ok (unreal China town).
I would go to Shannan Falls.. on the way to Whistler. Victoria is nice to.
Bring some rolling papers lol.
Its been awhile since Iv'e been there.

When I cruised to Alaska, one of our stops was Victoria. For whatever reason, we loved it there. All we did was walk around, but it seemed like such a cool little town to live in.

scrum if i were you i would just make the trip 2 hours shorter for you and make your destination Seattle. no way Vancouver is nicer then Seattle. love that city.
