Does anyone have one to recommend? I don't need it to be for deep waters, I'm not diving. But I'd like a camera that I don't have to worry about on the boat, or when I snorkel in the Keys, etc.

This seems to have uniformly good reviews... moreover, you can just use your own camera with it.

Take pictures or video. so you can do both with it. The only thing oit dont have is a flash. but there is a way to lighten the pics on it and I normally just edit them on my computer. off the chip. To easy. its perfect for the boat as ya normally wont need a flash anyway its tough and waterproof and cheap. Like I said I have had one for two years and no problems yet.

That looks cool. Isn't there supposed to be some new waterproof iPhone case too?

I bought a good one for the honeymoon last year, I bought the previous generation and got it for $50 on eBay. I will get you the info tonight. It is a great camera. Used it last week at the beach. I put a floating lanyard on it and let it just in the water while I snorkled.

FB why not just get some cheap shit like this?

Amazon.com: Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof 35mm Single Use Camera: Camera & Photo

pic quality seems decent for such a cheap camera.

I'm on the water too much to not be carrying a camera.

I shudder at the thought of having to go develop film. If it is a once in a decade sort of thing, maybe, but since FB is on the water all the time, it probably makes sense for her to get a digital camera or enclosure that will enable her to use her current digital camera.
