So we are heading north for 4 days... plan to get going in about 3 hours. Vancouver and maybe Victoria. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay data roaming, so I'll be a bit scarce over the next few days.

No Beast, I have not picked up the Canon! My Canon pocket camera will have to do for this trip, which is fine... the one thing I hate about the SLR is lugging that huge thing around. I used to have a Minolta Maxxum 20 years ago when it was the baddest camera around. Nothing like a P&S for convenience.Comment

OK... as promised here are some pictures.
We drove up from Portland to Vancouver on I-5. Not a bad drive as interstates go.. typical scenery looked like this outside metro areas.
