Scary thing about this.... a lot of us who have been in the military have been waiting for these kind of attacks to happen here in the states.Hopefully this was just some fucking nutjob. Imagine a coordinated effort of terrorists hitting walmarts publix costcos across the country every day... walking in at 5
or 6 pm when hundreds of people are online waiting to check out. guy walks in tosses a few hand grenades and starts blazing away with a rifle... or worse yet a suicide bomber. BOOM chiacgo new york miami LA dallas detroit atl. No way to stop it period.And this happen all at once across the country...then again a week later then again...it'll cripple us as a nation as there is no way to stop it.

only law abiding citizens who carry,may be in the right place at the rght time.. but to be honest thats very doubtfull,and most will shit yellow and fold god forbid should an event like this ever happenagain.. Pray for the familys...

Let me ask you a question. Do you have a problem with doing background checks and having a waiting period to buy a handgun?

No problem with back ground checks.I think its a good law. If ya pass a background check,,why should an individual have to wait? The only reason one would think I should have to wait is because you ASSUME Im buying it to do harm. Should an individual have to wait 72 hours to get the new car they want? Why not,,,, they could go on a spree and run people over in crosswalks parking lots ect. really no difference. If you want to kill someone you can do it with anything.

The real issue is generally not the person going to buy a leagle weapon the right way... its the criminal element that doesn't follow the laws. The worst part of this is the victims...pray for um!

The bad part is some nutjob makes all leagle and law abiding gun owners look like raving nuts.. To people against gun ownership it just a prejudice towards law abiding gun owners.

think about it, your watching a movie, smoke bomb goes off and then rat a tat tat.

combined with the smoke and a dark theater people would be in panic mode everywhere, no way you would have had any sort of clean shot on the fella until well after it was already over.

Oh I agree 100% Bouncer..it would be real hard in that situation. To be honest My first thought would be to get my family or friends behind some cover and then pull a defenseive posture and hope to figure out what the hell was going on.

yep, like this guy and every criminal/ thug/ gang banger out there bro. Thats why I carry 90% of the time I can.99% of people who carry the right way are not a bad ass looking to make a point. They are simply prepared in case someone puts them into a bad situation like this..or the video I posted the other day of the internet cafe that was getting robbed.... that they can hopefully surprize the bad guy and comeout on top.:thumup:

All my guns at home are locked in a gun safe. Im the only one who knows the combo.When I get home from work I take my 45 and keep it along side my bed at night within easy reach. When I get up in the AM and go to work I lock it in the safe. I cant carry at work because I work on a federal installation and its not allowed. If I run to a store or do anything away from home I carry with me 90% of the time.Same with the wife, she always has hers in her purse. In March when Sabrina turns 21..I'll buy her a carry piece and she will be licensed to carry as well.

I try to be... just last week a 2 year old girl was killed here locally. Her father left a loaded glock out he was in another room lil girl picked it up and shot her self in the chest playing with it. Fucking trajic to say the least.Dad fucked up by leaving a loaded gun out and an unsupervised child in the same house. Bad part is report said had it been almost any other weapon, she probably couldn't have shot herself..glocks only have a "trigger safety" which IMHO is bullshit, its not a true safety... most other handguns she couldnt have pulled the trigger on with safetys in place.. Not that makes it better..dad never should have left the loaded gun where the child could get to it..
