        Florida is huge but seems like more going on west side. your not that far from Miami though so probably more expensive

        East side = West Palm, Ft Lauderdale, Miami, etc.

        I live in a nice neighborhood, central location. My rent is $1000/month and my condo is 1800 sq ft. But it's just me and my kids 1/2 the time, and I'm paying all the bills myself.

        Rent probably seems cheap to you, but wages in Florida are low. So I guess it's all relative.
