Nice bike shots, bro! Yeah, midday or cloudy weather sucks. Being in Oregon, I get a lot of the clouds, makes it difficult especially if I want to step down the aperture.

The 70-200 f2.8 is pricey, no doubt! I picked up my 70-200 F4 for about $850. Probably the best $850 I have spent. But $2K is another story altogether. But it is supposed to be worth it - sharpest Canon lens ever.

Yeah I think 2.8 and the 4.0 has the same glass but 2.8 is just faster.

I was looking at the 70-200 2.8 IS and it is over $2000.:panic::panic:

Last sunday I had an unsuccessful photo outing. Where I live (in the valley) it was a super clear and hot day so it wasn't good for pictures (high noon) so I got on my bike and went down to the beach and it was the complete opposite. Cold, hazy and overcast. It sucked big time.

Only took a few shots and I was playing with these in the lightroom.

Three different editing on the same picture lol.

Haha... You are too kind! I am just learning. I feel like I am slowly getting better... having a better idea of visualizing the photo before taking the shot and getting better with understanding light.

BTW, is that you in your avatar? Looking great! :)

Interesting how they have named all their sports facilities and buildings after famous athletes. They have the Ronaldo soccer field, the Michael Johnson track, etc. It is funny that one of their main buildings used to be called the Lance Armstrong building, and that sign got taken down in a hurry a few months ago lol....
Didn't they have a Joe Paterno daycare? I think it got changed quick.

It was someone involved with the Penn state scandal.
