Camera Battle

Nah, just stuck my camera with my 400mm lens on a tripod and shot the moon. I do have a pretty big telescope - I need to get an adapter that i can use to attach my camera to the telescope so that I can take shots of planets and stuff.

Beast when you take pics of people do you ask them or just point the camera at them and just snap away? lol I would feel weird doing that shit. Pics do look good though, like magazine shots or something.

Scrum that moon is bad ass. Did you get some kind of telescope lens or something?

Nope no questions asked. lol. When I first started take some street shots it felt weird to point the camera to people but now I got used to it so it doesn't feel weird to take pictures of people anymore. :D

You are right. Some of them zoomed in but the ones with the skaters are taken close up. They were watching the skateboarders and they didn't even know I was snapping their pictures. :thumup:

This girl didn't look to happy when she saw me taking her picture. lol.

Yeah, that's,what the moon looks like when you look at it through a decent telescope. I've got a badass scope - 11 inch objective. I just need to purchase the hardware to attach my camera to the scope.

I'll let Beast speak to his edit, but my Mt. Hood shot was taken at around noon on a bright sunny day, very poor conditions for photography. You generally want to shoot early in the morning or later in the evening. Everything is washed out in the bright sunlight in the middle of the day. I could barely see the mountain against the sky, that's how bright and hazy it was. All things considered, it is surprising that the photo came out as well as it did.
