I seen you say your mom owns horses? My boy and his wife own and train horses out in Salt Lake City. He recently asked me if I was interested in buying a horse with him. He goes to auctions buys them, trains them, then sells them. The last one he bought for $12k and sold it 6 months later for $45k. I guess there is a auction down there in KY in November I'm thinking about meeting him down there and checking it out. Have you heard of these auctions?

Pattersaw in or around Lexington/Versailes area I think the spelling is right its 1 of many auction sites 3 of our horses came from there. In all we have 7 total quarter horses. You want money bro go with saddlebreds or thorobreds. I was at the fair checking out some of the high rollers all saddle breds. Extreme lean muscle in these animals its amazing to watch the training process of a race horse..breezing them daily and what not. But yes if you are good trainer you can make money off this for sure.
