I know people were bitching about the quality control a few years ago, not sure if they're back on track now or not.

For the money I would go with a Springfield Armory, always been very happy with mine.

what model do you have? I want compact. the wifey need to be able to shoot it if needed. she can not shoot my HKs for nothing.

I have the fullsize Operator and Loaded models.

Don't really carry them much because of the size and weight, plus they need more daily maintenance than I want to deal with. But they're dead on target and shoot like a dream.

For a compact carry gun I would honestly go with an Hk or SIG, maybe a Glock. Just much less to worry about in the long run.

plastic guns are to light and have to much barrel flip for her. she shoots them bad. even in 9mm. she shoot my buddys Wilson in 45 way better. my guess is the flip of the plastic gun she dont like. grip was alot better for her also.

bottom line she need to grab my shot gun but I keep that in safe

fuckin freak was breaking in houses at night when people were home and fucking lil kids. this shit happend 30-40 mins away from me. freaked me out bad. I need her to kill anyone or anything that steps in my house when I am not home.

yes she has a tuff time rackin a round with my HK but the wilson she shot was easyer for her.

revolvers was on my list as they go bang all the time but again they are light and will have barrel flip. at least the ones with smallr grips
