He was 79 but other wise healthy. He got it in Mexico then a month later he died. 10 years ago.

We are not sure, he got sick in Mexico and we had to get him home on am air ambulance which took a week because we could not find a hospital up here that would take him.
They diagnosed him with flesh eating diease of the blood and tried to treat him but could not stop it.
The health department had all of us tested just in case and we were all fine.
He was a great guy.

Not these bacteria are pretty much on every door knob, locker room etc usually effects people with wreak immune systems or underlying problems. If you get a laceration, treat it, protect it, cover it.
